David Beckham spotted stopping to help elderly woman who’d fallen in the street
Former Manchester United legend, David Beckham proved he has a heart when he stopped in London to help an old lady who had fallen in the street.
In Southwest London, the father of four stopped traffic behind him to ask the lady if she was ok. He reportedly wound down his window and offered her a bottle of water.
Twitter user Caroline and Wills glorified the former England Captain. She wrote: “An old lady fell in the road in SW7 yesterday, a car pulled up next to her to help & stop her getting run over. Legend
Sally Biddall added: “Was helping an old lady who fell over on my lunchbreak and guess who bloody drives up to help? David Beckham. That’s who. What a gentleman”

In a statement, London’s Fire Brigade confirmed the news:
“At around 16.45 a fire engine was flagged down to an elderly woman who had tripped when crossing the road and fell and hit her head.
“David Beckham was parked nearby and had already given her a bottle of water. He assisted and when the ambulance arrived was thanked and told he could move on.”
